Re: Create a mask with UV sensor

3) Defocus, I imagine a lot of people are trying to use a mask to fix curing issues associated with edge blurriness. I'm not sure increasing the cure time in those areas will work this way, particularly on small features. I don't think it is possible to solve edge blurriness issue with the mask. I ...

Re: Stable Builds & OS Compatibility List

CW 1.0.0.36 stable on relatively cheap laptop Acer 5920 (Core 2 Duo T7300, 4Gb DDR2, FullHD suport). Windows 7 Professional (it is not possible to operate projector with Starter or Home edition). FTDI drivers version 2.8.24 (newer drivers are not operatable). I was also printing with hi-end Core i7 ...

Re: Create a mask with UV sensor

CaptainBisquick, is your CW stable on Virtual machine? Don't you have any problems with missing microsteps?
Because I had some issues regard to CPU performance
Slow PC will affect print quality.

Re: Create a mask with UV sensor

CaptainBisquick, I am using the same version of CW with LittleRp, and using the same .stl file to calibrate my projector. I never saw those strange lines as on your photo.
Maybe, something is not right with your projector or another hardware (video card)?

Re: CW on Intel Atom?

I am printing with Core i7/8 Gb DDR3 right now. CPU load by CW is 18%, memory load is 900 Mb. Now it is obvious, why Intel Atom/2Gb DDR2 was not able to handle it. And CW are no longer supported by it's creators... I think, NanoDLP + Rasberry Pi will be a good alternative to CW + hi-end PC. But mayb...

Re: CW on Intel Atom?

Yeah, Atom N450 is weak. But we have Creation Workshop RPi Host on much weaker hardware.
Maybe, there are some issues with OS (I used Windows 7 professional) or .NET Framework that are drawing CW down.

CW on Intel Atom?

Hi, All! Recently, I was trying to operate my LittleRP with the netbook (Intel Atom 450). The results are horrible. :( Printing process is significantly slower(20-30%) and I got Z-axis problem http://www.buildyourownsla.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=4942 . But when I switched back to my normal ...

Re: Two stepper drivers burned already!

Anyone tried DRV8825 drivers? SD8825 is hard to find, I am looking for an alternative. But connections for those drivers are slightly different: http://files.panucatt.com/datasheets/sd8825_user_guide.pdf https://www.pololu.com/product/2133 The SureStepr SD has VDD connector and Pololu DRV has Fault ...

Re: Anti-backlash Nut worn out

The Anti-backlash Nut was not one to blame. I had changed it and see only slight improvement on Z-axis surface quality. Most likely, some problem with the Stepper Motor Driver. It seems, the stepper motor was not able to execute G-code command in time. Every time I look at CW "Estimate Build Ti...

Re: Anti-backlash Nut worn out

Another, larger part of the nut is not in good condition too, but I was too lazy to take a photo of it. Bearings are probably OK, they are inside NEMA stepmotor, I can't access them, but they "feels" normal. Maybe, I was wrong with threaded rod oiling. I had oiled the rod only few times. N...
