Re: EKB
(If the question was directed to me) Seems like the are only making a batch for the P300 (1280x800), but on a general note I have not seen any pico's with 1080p. Meanwhile I will try to mod a old pico I have laying around : Samsung Pico SP-H03 (DLP) My guide will be a teardown I found here : http:/...

Re: BeagleBone Black
Except if your running 1080P, the BBB wont do full HD resolution through the HDMI at least that is what the specs say.
I just have my old laptop running my printer didn't cost me anything, but would be cheaper going with a BBB if you had nothing to start with.

Re: BeagleBone Black
Pretty sure it wont have enough processing power or memory to work as a stand alone. I have a 8 core 2.4gz 32GB mem PC and it wont keep timing timing correctly unless the export to file is used. If CW is able to use the .cws file for printing in the future releases is might be a option to print from...

Re: Import Sliced Images from other software?
I might be able to find a way to speed up the anti-aliasing a bit. I was wondering if it would be possible to do something like a buffer. Slice say 5-10% of the file then allow it to start printing and slice the rest as it's actually going through the job? I see the files appear in the folder as it...

Re: Import Sliced Images from other software?
And as far as losing sync, check all your timings, and can you tell me if the 'ignore gcode responses' box is checked in the File->Preferences? Yeah I went through all the timings and they are exact to what I had from when it worked perfect, and exact to what works with the exported files. Like I s...

Re: Import Sliced Images from other software?
If need be, I can add a slice importer, although ideally I'd like to make sure that slicing (even with anti-aliasing) is a quick process. Slicing without Anti-Aliasing is fairly quick like 4-6 min depending. Once I turn it up to around 3-3.5 where I normally print at it takes anywhere from 45-65 mi...

Re: Import Sliced Images from other software?
Is there a reason you need to slice the images to files? Because if you don't *need* to export them, then slicing is instant. Yep I know this, for some reason starting last week CW lost timing with the slice/exposure and simply will not "render on the fly" any longer. It's actually very w...

Import Sliced Images from other software?
Does anyone use imported images from other software or know how to do so? The super long slice times with CW are really getting annoying when you have to re slice to change settings etc. My latest project is 80mm - 120mm tall pieces and they take anywhere from 45-65min to slice each time. :/ Any hel...

Re: Flex bottom VAT
Ive got a similar vat, well on the 3rd one now. But suspended FEP tensioned. I find that as the build progresses and the resin gets warm/hot from the chemical reaction of curing the FEP expands and the VAT bottom droops. This is probably more of a problem for me since im using such a large vat, the...

Re: Resin pigments
I see your point on the B9 resin and yes by the time materials hit Canada and we pay the customs charges etc we are paying the crazy high shipping rates your listing as well so I feel your pain. I can't help on the pigments question but if you formulate your own resin are you willing to share the pr...
