Re: Funtodo Snow White
What I normally like to do is use a can of air to gently pop the bubbles. Something I learned when doing many resin castings in the past. Please be careful and hold the can of air far enough so that it don't blow your resin our of the vat.

Re: Generating Support in CW
If your model sits exactly on 0 then the support at that areas will go below the 0...i know it's not smart enough to know that you dont need support where it's touching 0. You can double click on each support that's is below 0 and hit delete. I suggest playing with the spacing...to have more or less...

Re: Base layer timing off and print issues
The problem sis the Zbottom speed. The lift sequence time also includes the time it takes to move from the retract position to the next print position. If you dont want to increase the sequence time, then you should increase the Zbottom speed to at least 75 - 100, 50 is too slow and eats up your seq...

Re: CW cannot print this STL file
Hi James, I'm a professional 3D modeler for 10+ years. I mostly use Maya and 3DS Max. In this test I used Maya and again I can see right away the normals were reversed. I've had holes and black slices due to reverse normals before so this is the first thing I checked for. I'm not familiar with the s...

PS: Here is what it's supposed to look like with correct facing normals.

Re: CW cannot print this STL file
Ok so I'm checking it out in Maya and the thing that jumped out at me is that the normals are reversed. This is a problem because the faces are facing inward and not out. Here is a screen cap show little dots in the middle of each triangle but the dots are supposed to be little spines sticking out r...

Re: CW cannot print this STL file
I've sliced STL's that were over 35mb - 40mb and never had issues...just a bit slow to move the camera around in real time. I'm also thinking there's problems with your STL file and not CW. If it's not the STL file then it could be our PC? Maybe not enough RAM or you're having display problems? I ca...

Re: My School Project - Bottom Up DLP 3D printer
Hello,
Great build!! I currently have a top down, but looking to convert to a bottom up. what issue are you running into? Is it the vat from Kudo? Are you having any problems focusing with the use of a mirror?

Re: DLP Juice Ultra Tough Low Cost DLP SLA Resin Choice Of 6 Colours
hhhmmm...then it seems to like the resin is the problem...it's not curing like it supposed to. you're curing the supports at 10 seconds correct? this should be more than enough cure time for it to form properly...if not, then the resin is bad. did you make sure to shake/stir up the resin before use?...

Re: DLP Juice Ultra Tough Low Cost DLP SLA Resin Choice Of 6 Colours
Quite honestly, I feel you're using too many variations in your exposure time. For me I would just do 5 - 6 layers of over exposure to attach to the build plate then after that it's normal exposure. the more over exposure you have the more the resin will shrink and this could cause warping and other...
