Re: Looking for an SLA/DLP open-source printer
If you don't require a large build area check out the LittleRP. The creator is active on this forum and he has run one of the best Kickstarter campaigns I've ever seen.

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer
Here's our latest print done at 25 microns XY and 25 Z. It took about 2 hours.

Re: Printing fails, Holes
You may need to also add a "settling" time so the resin has stopped flowing out of the center cavity before the next layer is being exposed.

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer
I think this print is pretty cool and a good example of the resolution our new printer is able to achieve.

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer
Don't be sorry!! It's given me time to design a new, smaller printer and we're getting great results from the prototype. It will have the same peeling and unparalleled resolution as Solus but with a few big improvements.

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer
The printer and most projectors have soft rubber feet so they aren't likely to move out of alignment unless you bump them pretty hard. Even though it hasn't been an issue for us many people have asked about this so we are designing an add-on mount for different projectors.

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer
Hi klambson, We have left the resin in the vat for days and haven't had any issues with stray light other than a slight increase in the resin viscosity. I'm not sure if the viscosity increase was due to polymerization or solvents evaporating. I'm guessing the ambient daylight in a room that reaches ...

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer
I hope it is ok to post these pictures here. They were printed at 25 XY and 20 Z with MakerJuice SF. The first piece is ~16 mm diameter (a dime is 17.9 mm) and most of the raised borders are ~100 microns and the channels ~200 microns. The second piece is ~20x20mm and some of the holes are ~200 micro...

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer
Hi Glacian, I am a little hesitant, especially after I saw that Form1 ripoff company in China. But I'll give you guys the basic idea. We use a thicker, stronger film (not FEP) and a tilt peel... but if you look carefully the whole vat doesn't tilt. I think maybe you can figure it out from here. Mark
