Platinum based silicone will inhibit with MakerJuice. Tin based works just fine. We have good success with the High Strength series:

Yogi, From the PDF it looks like your KK50 has a lead of 2mm (if your model number is actually a KK-50- 2 ). You can also measure this on your screw. Microstepping is set by your jumpers on your board (1/16 =all jumpers installed http://reprap.org/wiki/Sanguinololu#Microstepping_Jumper_Settings ). I...

I had some silicone oil laying around so I did an experiment. I put a small amount of silicone oil in a container and added MJ SubG. The SubG immediately settled to the bottom. Exactly, we are printing pixels here... Rotating say 45 degrees around the Z-axis would be my solution. Maybe increasing anti-aliasing? Looking at the individual slice files helps resolve many questions why prints do what they do. I once was pulling my hair out on why a feature was not printing and ...

If you look at the individual slice png files can you see this step? Are you using anti-aliasing?
