The Arduino motor shield uses H-Bridges to run their stepper motors, which Grbl (a popular CNC firmware for the Uno) does not support. You might have some trouble getting (community) standard firmwares to run on it, but I'm not sure.

Not nearly as bad of a price as I was expecting... but still way overpowered for what a DLP needs.

The problem is trying to maintain a liquid barrier that is consistent in its thickness. This might not be too hard when you're looking at thicknesses greater than 1 mm, but some people are printing at layer heights of .01mm... Which power port are you plugging into? You should be plugging into the one on the shield, not the Arduino. - then the usb is in and the power isn't, it is more difficult and sort of jumps This is an interesting bit... Ah, you have a DropLit! I would check your slide rather than your "leadscrew" (And I use that in the loosest sense of the term). See if you can wobble your z stage by hand, and if you can, try tightening the wheels.

Definitely looks like Z wobble to me. Your aspect ratio of the projector is also very off... Marvin's looking a little thin!
