Re: DLP Juice Ultra Tough Low Cost DLP SLA Resin Choice Of 6 Colours
Are you using 70% IPA? I only use 90%+ and it works great with all of the different resins I've tried so far. I haven't tried this resin yet but maybe something stronger may work better?

Re: DLP Juice Ultra Tough Low Cost DLP SLA Resin Choice Of 6 Colours
Definitely interested in trying this out. Been using FTD DB and SW and very happy with it. If it's just as good or better...then for the price it's definitely worth a buy.
Can someone post some print samples once you guys get to try it out? thanks!!

Re: Floating resin handling
I'm also using glycerol. I just keep the resin floating on top and store it that way. When I had to remove the rein, I used a turkey baster to suck up as much as possible and what ever is left, I just blast it with my projector with a white screen. After a few seconds I can just remove the thing lay...

Re: Wrong size at SLA printing.
What nc42 said, plus it would be helpful to use the 10mm SLT cube downloadable from thingiverse. Keep track of which side is X, Y and Z. Measure all 3 sides, then once you get the numbers, we can help troubleshoot much easier.

Re: Store resin between prints
Yeah, I do the same. I usually just keep the resin in the vat and store it in a box in the closet. when I want to print I take it out, give it a light stir then print. I do clean it after a few weeks, but I never pour it back into the fresh batch in the bottle. I use a fine paint strainer and store ...

Re: First successful prints!
Thanks!! It was printed pointing up! I got the model from thingiverse. the model was created to be printed so it worked out perfectly from bottom to top printing. hhhmmm...I'm using the black pigment that comes with the order of SW since the option is available when I ordered it. Let me know how the...

Re: First successful prints!
Finally got to play with Fun To DO Snow White + Black pigment. I feel it works much better than Deep Black and virtually no light bleed!!

Re: Top down setup, first decent prints :)
Nice!!! Yeah I've been printing at 150 micron XY because I'm using a 1024x768 projector plus I wanted to print a bit larger pieces. My print plate is currently 4.5 x 6 inches...although my Z Axis only has a 5 inch travel. I'm planning to get a taller Z axis in the near future. Also I haven't made th...

Re: Top down setup, first decent prints :)
Hey hefeglass, That's an amazing print!! I've also found that for some reason FTD's SW resin settles faster than the DB...not sure why lol. what's the dip distance you're using? Maybe that's the reason why you have some holes? I usually dip down 4 - 5mm no less. Whats your exposure time right now wi...

Re: Top down setup, first decent prints :)
hefeglass, thanks for the reply! Yeah I also really like how blue your prints are! I'm hoping to get mine to look a nice solid 40% gray. I wonder is I can mix my DB with the SW...DB doesn't have as much pigment as I thought and still have bleeding. Maybe it's best to just mix the SW with the pigment...
