Re: Why NOT use saltwater?

Hello everybody, i've tested a lot and in my opinion saltwater is not the best choice. There are a lot of problems if you use it everyday. And also the cleaning of the vat with a pump makes problems with saltwater. That's the reason why i've developed my own resin replacement. With that you can use ...

Re: z-axis Calibration

Thanks for you help. I fixed the problem ;-) I'm using a projector which must be connected via usb and the resolution of the projector and the second screen was not the same. It was a little bit tricky, because you have to use the software of the projector to create a second screen and not the Windo...

Re: z-axis Calibration

Post a section of some of your generated GCode from slicing a file. Maybe I can help spot the issue ;(****Build and Slicing Parameters****) ;(Pix per mm X = 13.09147 px/mm ) ;(Pix per mm Y = 13.09091 px/mm ) ;(X Resolution = 1281 px ) ;(Y Resolution = 720 px ) ;(X Pixel Offset = 0 px ) ;(Y Pixel Of...

Re: z-axis Calibration

Hey,

i'm using a ramps 1.4 Board and all jumpers are installed. I've checked the stepper data sheet....

If i use the manual control and move the z axis 1 mm up, it goes 1mm up, but not when i'm printing.

It makes me crazy....

Re: top down with resin floating on water or ???

Hey, i've tested a little bit and now i've got a solution for resin floating. The resin and the solution stays stable for 3 weeks now and there are any reactions. I've got no problems until now and i was able to save nearly 150$ for resin. If there is somebody interested in getting this stuff, write...

z-axis Calibration

Hey guys, after i've calibrated my dlp printer, i made a testprint. Everything is fine, but the z-axis is wrong. I mean, i printed a yoda model and it became a conehead yoda. It looks funny, but ... I use a 1.8° stepper with an 8 mm spindle. I calculated the steps per mm like this: 200(steps) x 16(1...

Re: Tilt doesn't work

Now i've tried Sprinter in RepetierHost and the same problem. With Marlin the same. I don't know what to do. It sounds like the stepper wants to move but it doesn't. I've checked the way of the stepper and there is nothing what stops the stepper. I've test different kinds of configurations in the Ar...

Re: Tilt doesn't work

Have you tired to send a few GCode commands? Yes, i tried to send a Code like you've written and it was the same. You can hear a quiet noise but nothing moves. For Repetier i use Marlin and it works very well. For CW i use Sprinter and the Z-Axis works fine and if i switch the wires of the stepper,...
