printing with clear
I started trying to use a clear resin. I printed a hollow calibration cube, exterior dimensions of 10 mm, with 1 mm thick walls, no top or bottom, just sides. The part of the cube that is near the build plate closed up (over exposed) and the part of the cube furthest from the build plate has a ragge...

best practices for processing a print after it leaves the printer
Is there a FAQ about best practices for what to do with your resin print after you pull it from the printer? Brief wash in IPA? Long soak in IPA? Post cure in the sun?
My prints are nice, but a little bit sticky. Not sure what the next step is.
Thanks!
Jon

Re: Newbie problems
What does "no slicing file, cannot begin build" mean. A web search failed to come up with anything. I cannot slice now.

Re: Newbie problems
I loosened the 4 screws that hold the build plate assembly to the linear rail, and allowed the build plate to adjust to the petri dish before re-tightening the screws. I also removed the mirror assembly and re-assembled with the nuts and washers between the mirror assembly and the petri dish holder;...

Re: Newbie problems
Thanks for your help!
I am using an Acer H6510BD projector
I guess I will have to disassemble the printer to get those spacers on the mirror holder. I will also loosen the linear rail and see if that produces better bed leveling.
I'll check back after I've done the above.

Newbie problems
I am not new to 3D printing (FDM) but I'm new to resin. The kit went together fine (too bad the instructions were not updated for the new parts: I now have to disassemble and reassemble the whole printer). I printed the calibration object with 9 pins, only about 5 of which appeared (but they were pe...

Re: Separating Build from Buildplate
I've not used the LittleRP yet, but on my FDM machines, I remove my glass build plate and put it in the refrigerator: the PLA parts pop off in 5 minutes. If something really sticks, I put it in the freezer. This approach might be easier than the hot/cold water trick. Of course, you don't want any of...
