Re: All in one
Wow. That's an innovative design! I wonder if it would be beneficial to have two of the non-captive steppers (one for each side of the platform). From the pictures, correct me if I'm wrong, it looks like you've flattened the lead screw so that its rotation can be restricted, which could cause addit...

Re: All in one
My prototype is ready. The new Z axis works perfectly. In the video I test the speed of the peeling with continuous light from 20W 405nm diode. 0,1mm Z resolution. All this for less than $150

Re: All in one
Nothing complicated. My dream is to make the SLA printing accessible for everyone and to remove deficiencies. What does it mean? Low cost and high speed. I think I did it. The material was only the way to achieve this. I'm really sorry that the fep film does not work in this technology to be more ac...

All in one
First ugly prototype
VAT with integrated Z axis with constant speed. I will rebuild it with stepper motor because there are some problems with the Z resolution and I will can use CW. Bottom-up

Flex VAT with hard bottom
Make your VAT as you know. You can use glass or acrylic. I recommend 2-3mm acrylic for tanning - processed easily and pass all spectrum of UV. Drill a hole in the bottom outside of the building area, 4-5mm is enough. Cover the bottom with nonstick sheet and fix it with silicone or super glue only on...

Re: My new material for VAT
Yes, I know. Thank you!
Tomorrow I will try to explain how to make a flex VAT with hard bottom very easily.

Re: My new material for VAT
I want to remind that this material is intended for a new type of 3D printer with very high speed and there may be some drawbacks to known printers. The prototype of this printer works perfectly with speed 1 mm for 12 sec, 0.1 mm resolution for Z Axis. This is a laboratory speed. Real will be about ...

Re: My new material for VAT
Yes! I still have difficulties with the larger sizes, but this technology with direct extrusion on a plastic sheet is new and will improve with the time.

Re: My new material for VAT
After very hard work I think I'm ready. If I was born a baby would be easier. ;) I think I made something really good. Now need to improve the technology but it is not a big problem. Today I tested my project for 3d printer. The result is impressive. 1/4 second between the layers. And all this for $...
