Re: New Builder - LCD Based 3D Printer - Introduction

Result of the very first archaic test, just "one layer"...

It sounds promising.
You can see a allipse, a square and a sort of "+" sign on the left, under the ellipse

Re: A few points to consider when building a commercial mach

@PacManFan
Did you progress about " I'm going to support multiple monitors and a new sub-slice mode where multiple "things" can occur on a per-slice basis, such as moving the projector to new positions and displaying a portion of the slice image." ?

Thanks !

Re: New Builder - LCD Based 3D Printer - Introduction

Yeah, I'm curious to know the result. I think the best solution is the LED array under the LCD. xxxxxxxxx VAT xxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxLCDxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxLED_ARRAYxxxxxxxxx But I fear that the LED ARRAY creates a luminous flow in all directions which could be problematic in terms of accuracy....

Re: New Builder - LCD Based 3D Printer - Introduction

Endlighten seems to be a great product with many applications.
Not sure it is recommanded for this application as I suppose with it you will increase light power losses.

For this application I think we have to minimize material between LED and LCD display.
