Re: Using a corexy driven laser.
There are a few threads addressing this issue, it might be solved, or close to being solved. Atfer Hbot, go to CoreXY. That describe not round circle with Corexy system. I have uploaded EXACTLY my same firmware (repetier), just change that line: #define DRIVE_SYSTEM 0 (from 1 before) and M206 T3 P3/...

Re: Pigments, layer heights, intensity questions.
Where do you think the divide is for the quality of the print surface finish based on the contrast ratio? Is there noticeable difference between 10,000:1 vs. 15,000:1, given a 0.10 mm resolution? I'm considering the following two projectors: 1. Acer-h6510bd, Contrast ratio, 10,000:1, http://www.proj...

Re: Print Cycle in CW
To be clear, you are not using the waterfall technique or the tilt vat, is that correct? You want to: 1 slide the vat after photo-polymerization to break the mechanical bond of the object to the PDMS, 2 stop, 3 then lift the Z-axis up 4 mm, 4 pause to allow resin to flow over the PDMS, 5 then slide ...

Re: First surface mirror, Aluminium, Glass or Acrylic?
Excited4DLP: Is there a difference whether if a first surface mirror is bought from a supplier or if it's from a rear projection tv? I want to confirm the proposal of kwilliams38: Rear projection TV are équiped with first face reflective mirror, generaly wide enough to provide many mirrors for many...

Re: First surface mirror, Aluminium, Glass or Acrylic?
You're not placing a load on the mirror so probably the only issues are vibration, and heat distortion. I would insulate the mirror from it's mount with double sided adhesive coated cork, and/or foam, with a few perimeter mirror clips if the bond fails. I'm looking for a first surface mirror from a ...

Re: lildlper coming to kickstarter soon
That's not I.
SLA Resins:
1. Epoxy.
2. Acrylic.
3. Polyester.
4. Urethane.
5. Photoinitiator.
Polyester resin has styrene in it and will dissolve the styrene in polystyrene, but I think epoxy is OK as long as it doesn't get too hot. I don't know what is in the other resins or the photoinitiator.

Re: lildlper coming to kickstarter soon
Found another lil'l SLA printer using a pico projector.
I think these lil'l inexpensive SLA machines are going to become popular some day soon, it'll probably track resin prices.
