Re: LittleRP proving to be a waste of time!

Hiren I still think the pigment concentration of your resin is too high. If your part does not stick to the build plate well with a 30 second let alone an 80 second base exposures your resins pigment concentration probably has a lot to do with it. Even with a slightly low or misaligned build plate ...

Re: Makerjuice Waxcast.

Dude, that is insanely detailed! I've got the LittleRP solely for jewellery design and getting fine detail is an absolute priority! As a novice, I'm very intrigued how you got this kind of resolution. What kind of projector are you using? You say 45 micron X,Y, how is this calculated? I'm using an ...

Re: Makerjuice Waxcast.

I have been printing with WaxCast without any issues. Here are some pointers that may help: Build plate needs to be parallel to the vat. Light intensity - 30 micron Z - 45micron x,y Insure adequate first burn in layers Make supports thicker than you would for other resins. Make sure you have a larg...

Re: LittleRP proving to be a waste of time!

I noticed one thing today. That I might have been pressing too hard on the VAT for the zero layer.

I levelled the build plate without too much pressure and the zero to first layer took.

I believe a bigger build plate will be the ideal solution to what I just went through.

Re: LittleRP proving to be a waste of time!

see the second to last paragraph of my first post, it covers diluting resin pigment. Increase the tension on your fep, it appears to be low (make sure the gasket and FEP are tightly clamped, the gaskets should be fully crushed). you may need to raise you vats zero position a bit. You will have to c...

Re: LittleRP proving to be a waste of time!

How do I zero the build plate with the default build plate? It's not that big.

Also, how do you lessen the pigment in heavy pigmented resin?

Just to add, I'm using your VAT. I don't have facilities to print my own unfortunately.

Thanks.

Re: LittleRP proving to be a waste of time!

hirenashra I am the designer of the vat you are using if it is the LittleRP flexvat. Lets take some time here to do some troubleshooting. I have sold about 140 of these vats to users of all kinds including jewelers who use them successfully every day. A few questions: when a print fails how does it...
