Re: New Builder - LCD Based 3D Printer - Introduction

REALLY appreciate Phife sharing all that he has. I'd love to help out but I already have most of the components already and it's a little out of my budget unfortunately. I'd take a bare PCB for $75 though... :) For people that want to go smaller, this might be a good choice. http://www.adafruit.com/...

Re: New Builder - LCD Based 3D Printer - Introduction

My original array was set up like yours with 15 degree lenses which would cure in between the spaces but would take a lot longer because of it. My second attempt has the leds stacked on top of each other, but that means I...

Re: lcd3dprinter

I think this might be the first LCD printer available for purchase. Resolution and build size might not be the best, but it's LCD and it looks like it works.

Thanks Phife. Super informative as always. I think I found a source for iPad polarizers so I should be good hopefully.

Re: New Builder - LCD Based 3D Printer - Introduction

For anyone working with the iPad lcd screen. I finally had the guts to peel off the reflective coating off the back in the hopes of getting more light through. It was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The only issue is the relfective layer is stuck pretty well to the polarizer so the polarize...

Re: Kast 3DP (LCD Based?)

Some more information regarding this printer. 5 inches an hour is pretty impressive.

Phife's solution on the previous page of this thread is a good way to do this.
