Re: nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

from what i read, you put a lot of thought into the programming. Would it be possible to just use a USB-Serial Converter to support sending serial commands if the PI internal UART sucks? Probably it could be used to further expand support for GCODE Devices, maybe? I have to talk with our hardware g...

Re: nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

Hi, it looks like a nice piece of software. I haven't been able to try it yet though. I'm using a Trinamic stepper driver for which i'm writing my own firmware. Is there a possibility to implement a function to send custom serial commands (Ascii or binary) instead of directly controlling the driver...

Re: nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

Also, for wiring a stepper, I presume that you need a separate power supply to drive the stepper? Do you have an example of the full set of components and wiring that you use for your setup? Unfortunately my friend who help us in wiring department is quite busy, I am not sure when he could provide ...

Re: nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

With the Kudo3D Titan 1 printer (that uses a modified version of ProjectLayer), I generally use 4-5 regions currently, generally for: Attachment layer, just 1 or 2 layers at the beginning for attaching the print to the build plate, usually extremely long cure like 60-120 seconds Support/Foundation ...

Re: nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

wow! its seems very configurable and complete. then, if you have not yet implemented the grayscale mask, how to use the entire build plate, specially with the acer 6510 ? We use 6510 too, based on my experience without lens modification corners are not useful at all. For our goal little bit of over...

Re: nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

Nice! Do you have a way of setting lift speed and height between layers similar to the layer-by-layer specs in ProjectLayer? I have not used ProjectLayer but I did checked out their setting page before. In our previous version, it was possible to edit every details about layer in real-time during p...

Re: nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

Hi shahin, i see you've released your demo, can you tell me more about the electronics? Can we use the A4988 stepper drivers? What pins should we exactly connect? I'm really noob with raspberry pi. Hi, I have not tested A4988 but it should work without any problem. http://pi.gadgetoid.com/pinout/ Y...

nanoDLP - Raspberry Pi DLP Host Software

Hi all, After my previous post about Raspberry Pi based DLP printer host software quite few people asked for demo version. I have prepared a demo version which could be installed on RPi 2. You can download it through following link http://www.nanodlp.com/nanodlp.tar.gz For more information about the...
