Nice design, tnxs for posting :)
Also your printer is looking very stable.
And above all, it's printing very well.
Nice job.

Re: DIY DLP printer + FEP foil / Utrecht

Well, I tried adhesive FEP already in 2013: http://khwelling.nl/3d.dlp_printer.testing.php#tripple_vat Here I created one PolyStyreen resin container, with 3 different sections: * No coating * Adhesive FEP foil * PDMS So the results I found so far, working with this 'adhesive FEP': * It works better...

DIY DLP printer + FEP foil / Utrecht

After seeing the nice Flex / Pillow container from hp_ , I also decided to change my printer. Here a picture about the new design: http://khwelling.nl/3d/pic/3d.dlp_pillow_flexvat_design.jpg While changing: ⋅ glass+PDMS towards FEP foil only ⋅ going for just one mirror (for the m...

Re: My Printer in Actione - inc Flexvat

You could try:
www.polyfluor.nl or www.kastilo.de
On both sites you need to order at least 1.2x2 meter. (About 35euro/m^2, excl. VAT & ship)

Re: An other DIY SLA DLP printer

Thanks hp, yeah finally some progress... :) Some updates about the build: Beside a shutter mechanism, on of the best updates is an aligning build platform system. I more or less copied the system from Finhead and it works great. The change of getting detached print is very small. I also improved the...

Re: Flex bottom VAT

Tnxs, great writing, I think this thread is the real discussion, where it's all about... Pacman, how will your FEP-only vat look like? Not affraid of sharp prints, sticking through the foil? I'm also dreaming of these kind of solutions... (Getting enough air under the foil, very thin foil so no shad...

Re: CIRCLES ON MY PRINTS - NEED ADVICE PLS

Those circles are indeed xy resolution. An other way to handle with this 'issue', could be the printing orientation. So at least, the circles are there, where you want them... The laser method. Also here it propably depends on the 'galvo' resolution. (It's actualy worse, the resulotion will change a...
