Here's a small video I made showing the process I used to manufacture a little piece of jewelry.
Thanks for watching.

Re: 3D scans.

hello seasick on the ballbar tuning , do i input the lenght of the bar or the diameter of the ball ? thx man alex Actually, you input the distance between the centers of the balls. I believe the easiest way to do this is by attaching to ping-pong balls to a wooden dowel. It is important to know the...

Re: 3D scans.

BTW, I was the one asking question on you tube as well.. so you don't need to reply in both place :D I kind of thought you were the same person. I don't have a build log for the scanner since this forum is dedicated to 3D printers. I have Version 3.1.7.77, so I'm thinking yours is newer and should ...

Re: 3D scans.

@seasicksinbad Could you tell us where/how you got the Flexscan3d software? Any site I come upon also requires the purchase of that company's scanner. I just want the software like yourself. TIA Mine is an older version software that came in a computer already setup for the scanner, I suppose you c...

Re: LiquiGlide vs Teflon

Yes!! And the results are not conclusive unfortunately. It seems like the guys at MIT worked out some kind of sorcery when creating the Liquiglide. First thing, let me tell you that a bottle of ketchup, or any other bottle built with this technology is more elaborate that I expected. It is built of ...
