Re: only right half of machine working ?
Yeah, looks like you have some clouding or otherwise uneven exposure.

Re: Z Motor not working
See if you can talk to it through a terminal program instead of CW. That will let you isolate whether it's a CW configuration problem or a hardware configuration problem.

Re: Z Motor not working
If you can't move the leadscrew with the system totally unplugged, you have a hardware jam.

Those laser cut pieces still have the protective tape on them. The smoky part will peel right off.

Perhaps you could do some distortion compensation in software?

Re: Printed a petri draining rack :)
I fixed the scaling and rotation- it should come out correctly now. Sorry about that everyone- I can't quite figure out how to set the XYZ axes from my CAD software yet. I've been rotating things in Repetier and CW to compensate but I suppose it's time to learn the right way to do things

Re: How to increase Z axis acceleration?
What do you mean you "failed"? Are you trying to make the lift faster or something? Most acceleration will be pretty invisible on this system as it only accelerates very briefly at the start and end of a move- that is, unless you have some REALLY slow acceleration values.

Re: acer h6510bd serial commands - SOLVED
Use a terminal program to make sure your settings are correct and to make sure you get comms to the projector. If you can't get it to work in a terminal program then it's not a CW issue, it's a wiring or driver issue.

Re: Printed a petri draining rack :)
Yes, I think the scaling came out in inches. If it comes out looking tiny just scale it by 25.4 (or set your software to use inches). That was my bad... I must have had my CAD exporter set to inches by accident. As far as the rotation goes, it should be printable in the orientation you would use it ...

CRLF means Carriage Return, Line Feed. See the following table: http://www.asciitable.com/ You can see that Carriage Return is hex 0xD and Line Feed is 0xA. I'm not sure what format exactly you need your hex codes in, but I assume it's two ASCII letters per Hex character, so at the end of your conve...
