Re: Carbon 3D

I tested continous printing with my bottom-up machine and lowering the release force to zero is just one of few other things that need to be considered. Its definately not as easy as to replace the FEP film with Teflon AF and your having the ultimate 3d printer ;) Thats just not gonna work. Having ...

Re: 7" Raspberry Pi LCD screen, unfortunally not usable

Not doubting your testing method, but no LCD will pass UV light, they all block 400nm and below. LCD's need LED's with 400nm and above to work. The color filters block a lot of light, red and green completely block it, blue will let some through but its tuned to be around 450nm so only a small amoun...

Re: Carbon 3D

Im not looking for just 1 sheet, This material will be used in my printer when I go into production. I would be ordering 100+ sheets. I dont see why they would not want to sell me this material especially since I will need so much. Not sure how you came to the conclusion that if you give me the comp...

Re: Carbon 3D

Only you can decide what material, size and thickness you will need for you machine.

Please let us know what the name of the supplier is, no need to keep that info secret. Finalizing talks could take a while, I would like to order some of this material this week.

Re: Carbon 3D

Ok I got a supplier in Canada for the Teflon AF 2400 in Solution. $250USD. There is a 45 day lead time. Im going to do some research into making the film. If I make 50micron thick film I should only need 20ml of the 100ml for a sheet large enough for my vat so I could make a few experiments. Looking...

Re: 350x200 mm Build Platform, UV laser or DLP Projector?

Sure the projector will go up to that size, while sacrificing resolution, but also light intensity. Cure times will go way up at that size. Tiling projectors is not such a good plan, difficult to implement and expensive. A Laser can be used at that size but then youre giving up speed.

Re: Carbon 3D

Ive emailed them a couple days ago though, so just waiting to hear back. I got TPX films from CS Hyde coming, Ive got some Nanocoating for glass now that I am testi...
