My idea was to use the pi/BBB only for printing...maybe a http interface to upload a job via Wifi and the Pi only handles GCode interpretation and slice display. Thay way the regular PC is free for other stuff.

maybe the motor current of your microstepping driver is just way too low. Check with the motor data sheet and adjust accordingly.

Hi, thanks for the affirmation. I've been adding more and more pigment now and it works quite well. I've used up all my MJ EZ Pigment (Red). Now I'm adding generic white pigment for epoxy resins...can't tell you where to buy because i still had some at the shop. But if it works out, i'll Post result...
