Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

I just thought I'd check in with anyone who's been watching this thread. Has anyone out there had any luck with this build? I see that the document on page 3 has been downloaded close to 150 times now and I hope that there are some out there who are having success. I've been busy on other porjects a...

Re: Laser mirrors projector

What you're suggesting is a complicated solution to a problem that has been solved for decades. The two Galvo motors have X/Y mirrors and scan at a rate from 12KPPS to greater than 30KPPS today (the low end would prob work just fine for 3D printing). The Closed-loop feedback scanners available form ...

Re: Laser mirrors projector

I'm a bit hesitant to post anything on the Indiegogo site but I can explain why I believe that the Peachy Printer is a complete sham (well, just mostly). The BIG mistake they made was in developing a price-point before developing their product. By today's standards a DIY or crowd-sourced printer for...

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

MYSTAMO! Welcome back. :-) When you have a chance just go back one page in this thread and download my word doc . As you'll see I've got quite a bit documented. I'm about 95% there I think. I too have had a busy summer and have yet to finish my build. Everything is together but I'm not 100% sure abo...

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

We haven't heard from mystamo in some time. I assume that now that he's built his kit he's off MAKING things. :) Just above your post is my how to document. While I didn't include a Bill of materials what you need to get started is real basic. Here's your list: ⋅ Stepper Motor (4-pin versi...

Build plate travel distances and other CW questions (Setup)

I need some advice about what parameters I should consider starting to test CW with. Super simple 1.0 test rig just as a POC. Synopsis about my setup: Top down format. Projector native resolution: XGA (1024 x 768) / 3000 Lumens (Dell 2400MP) Hardware: Arduino Uno, DRV8825 (1/32 step) Driver, DVDROM ...

Re: Arduino code. Suggestions wanted???

I've gone and shifted everything from pins 4,5,6 to 5,6,7 to better match some of the code I will end up using in production. I have a 12V @ 1.5A line going to =/- for the Stepper itself (with 100uF decoupling cap) Stepper is on A1,A2,B1,B2 as usual M0, M1, M2 all go to 5V on the Arduino board (high...

Re: Arduino code. Suggestions wanted???

This sort of works.

I needed to change your (digitalRead(buttonPin) == HIGH) to say LOW for some reason.

It will move the stepper forward for 5 paces and then stop 'temporarily' but it starts up again. The movement itself doesn't seem quite fluid either.

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

I think that I'm not the only one intrigued by Mystamo's simple design and I've acquired everything I need to put this thing together ( accept for the knowledge!!! ) I've seen some others here ask about a how-to document and I've yet to see anything posted. Being the anxious person I am, I figured t...
