Re: FEP vat for the LittleRP?
Purchased 25/7, shipped 30/7, arrived 4/8 or 5/8. As previously mentioned, the base of the vat being further off the baseplate makes for a larger build area than the petri dishes and a corresponding loss of resolution. In my case I've gone from about 32u x/y to 39u x/y, which is still probably good ...

UK casters accepting resins for burnout
Per the subject line - I seem to have hit a brick wall with a number of precious metal casters who won't accept resin models (B9 Cherry in this particular case). If anyone has any suggestions on who will, that'd be of great interest, thank you. My 2 options if I can't find one are a) make RTV moulds...

Re: FEP vat for the LittleRP?
Ah, option C :) Thanks Shane - bloody fast response! Of course, it might also have helped had I noticed the cal block wasn't actually on the base of the build - seems I've been getting away with squashing the PDMS... 10 layers @ 7700ms, first one was blank but I hadn't noticed. I can see the FEP fil...

Re: FEP vat for the LittleRP?
The biggest problem I have with the PDMS is the rate of degradation - but I'm printing fine detail (jewellery) and the structures can be a bit of a pig without overexposing slightly. Just set up my FEP vat from HTL - really nicely finished kit - and I'm having some issues getting the build to adhere...

Re: FAQ about VATs?
Peel off the PDMS and recoat, being careful not to scratch the petri dish while doing so. Nalgene petri dishes are available in the UK; as for better - well, FEP vats to fit the LittleRP are available, it's whether you think the PDMS is a hindrance or not. Because I'm doing quite fine structures, I ...

Re: FEP vat for the LittleRP?
Mine's en route; quite looking forwards to not fighting the PDMS. Now, does it work with the tilt kit?

Interesting, I didn't know the Solus had the projector free-standing.

It's the alternative base plate - http://imgur.com/a/kYbnu
If you're using the projector carrier, don't worry unduly.

Re: FTD (FunToDo) resins on LittleRP?
I'm currently using 14 drops of pigment (supplied by Danny) per 30ml of resin; I've reduced the power on the projector from 50 to 25 and switched to 35u layers. Currently using 1900ms per layer (2400ms base); no antialiasing. Post-cure was 10 mins in the ultrasonic @ 35C (with a jewellery cleaner),...
