Re: Daylight Polymer 3D Printer
Yeah the converters can be expensive. You either have to go with HDMI->DP or USB3->DP converter. Not all of them will work, so you have to be careful. Seems the cheapest for either of these is in the $40 range. If you have a desktop just buy a $20 used graphics card on eBay that has display port. D...

Re: Daylight Polymer 3D Printer
Right now I'm thinking the biggest question in all this is what is a reasonably priced method of getting displayport output. For mucking about my Surface works great but I want something dedicated for the actual printer.

Re: Daylight Polymer 3D Printer
Tried it this afternoon. Unfortunately the second screen backlight has an issue on one side of the screen. I was still able to try even after breaking the locking bar on the FCP connector on the abusemark board.... Seemed to cure just fine in the 10-20s. Still a bit hard to say how this will transla...

Re: Create a mask with UV sensor
Sorry obviously not clear. I don't have my arduino at my house but to double check but I believe the things to match are the com port and the baud rate. If I remember correctly if your only serial port attachment is the arduino cool term will automatically detect it and assign the correct settings.

Re: Daylight Polymer 3D Printer
Received my mini dp to dp cable today and had about 45 minutes to play around. Ran some 3w 470nm blue leds through the ipad screen with what I think were the 3 filters closest to the screen to even the blue light out. When the screen was 35-40mm from the leds it seemed pretty even. Only had 6 leds w...

Marlin works on arduino. You can choose from one of the preset 3d printing boards then match the pins for your stepper driver to that.

Re: Create a mask with UV sensor
Great tip on the show current slice, I had no idea.
While my solution for the mask isn't perfect it seems to have fixed many of the issues I was having. Especially combined with shifting the lens fix the focus.
