Re: 7" Raspberry Pi LCD screen, unfortunally not usable

You would need to post some exact numbers, so we can exclude any misleading information. Like if you used sub 400nm leds, you would label the lcd as unusable when if fact it might very well be quite ok, if used with 405nm leds, or 410 or 420 etc. Or if you used leds without lenses and the light was ...

Re: Carbon 3D

Add a mini vibrating motor to the side of your tank. That will make the top layer smooth out much faster.

Re: Carbon 3D

I guess that's where the low print quality comes from. The "always wet" surface in top-down is flexing when the build plate goes down, maybe even "releases on occasion", so that the "deadzone" is not always the same thickness, and the projection plane is not always on t...

Re: Carbon 3D

Has anyone been able to find Teflon AF Film in larger sizes? Out of the 4 companies I contacted, only 3 got back to me and none can supply the film in the sizes I need. Im still waiting to hear from Random Technologies, I might give them a phone call today and see what they say. Nope, been searchin...

Re: Carbon 3D

Yes there is a vacuum force, albeit much lower compared to a regular setup. The article talks about slower Z speed while the build platform is close to the vat floor, and when printing large flat parts. Resin viscosity also plays a part here.

Re: Carbon 3D

Go ahead and register, you won't regret it believe me. It's quick. "Increasing either 'incident photon flux' or 'photoinitiator absorption coefficient' increases the concentration of free radicals in the resin and decreases the initial oxygen concentration by reaction. Additional oxygen diffuse...

Re: Carbon 3D

All of our answers are here: http://www.sciencemag.org/content/347/6228/1349.full you will have to register to read the lengthy article, but it's free, and answers a lot! "oxygen diffuses through the window and into the resin but decays with distance from the window, so that free radicals will ...

Re: Carbon 3D

And the flow of resin between the vat and the model definitely exists. Yes, but with a regular vat floor, after solidification the resin has to somehow flow into space that "doesn't actually exist anymore" since there's now a solid block there. And there lay all the problems. With an uncu...

Re: Carbon 3D

Just think about it as a "top down" system. Does resin get saturated with oxygen and unusable in a "top down" system? Does oxygen force it's way into the resin? Does the top incurable layer get bigger over time in a "top down" system. No. Because that's all this is, a &...
