Its pretty hard to see the CastSolid print here. The ring was designed in Zbrush, the MS Red was printed at 0.50 mm and looks amazing, the CastSolid yellow was printed at a amazing 0.25 mm. I am really quite impressed with the quality of the prints and relative ease of use.

Re: Casting With the LittleRP

I have quite a bit of experience with making silicone molds and I can tell you that with some of the designs capable on on 3D printer that it would be impossible to make a decent mold. This spider ring I made, no way you could make a mold of this with the little legs, way to intricate, way to many h...

Re: Challenging Prints / The Eiffel Tower

Thanks! I have a Voronoi ring I printed out, which printed out awesome, but Meshmixer suggested all these little supports which were really hard to get off and impossible to get out of the inside part of the ring.

Re: Challenging Prints / The Eiffel Tower

What kind of 3D supports did you use for the bunny? Did you use any? If you did, what program did you use, MeshMixer for the supports or just creation workshop?

Re: Improvement Hack: Auto-align “No Twist” Build Plate Spac

Fantastic! I don't have a filament 3D printer, but I can get them done a couple places in town I think or at shapeways.

Re: Leveling the build plate.. using a feeler gauge..??

Yea I gave up trying to use a feeler guage, it seemed like a good idea. :? Apparently you just have to sit down and work with the screws until you get it just right. I got tired of using resin and just used water for the build plate calibration. That was sooooo much easier. I just got my first print...
