Re: Silicone molding printed parts

Do not use enamel paint for sealing parts as it will inhibit Platinum based silicone. As long as the UV resin is fully cured (no outgassing) it should work.

Platinum based silicone will inhibit with MakerJuice. Tin based works just fine. We have good success with the High Strength series:

Re: Understanding Microstepping

Yogi, From the PDF it looks like your KK50 has a lead of 2mm (if your model number is actually a KK-50- 2 ). You can also measure this on your screw. Microstepping is set by your jumpers on your board (1/16 =all jumpers installed http://reprap.org/wiki/Sanguinololu#Microstepping_Jumper_Settings ). I...

If you look at the individual slice png files can you see this step? Are you using anti-aliasing?

Re: Strange problem with base of print

It looks like you have good exposure for the first layers then underexposure thereafter. mUVe3D has published some code to transition from the initial layer exposure to 'normal' layers: Advanced Peel Control - Change Peel Settings For Effortless First Layer Adhesion Using some of the advanced featur...
