Re: Acer H6510BD

Re: First successful prints!

that looks great! how was it oriented?
i just ordered another bottle of ftd white and I'm trying to find a good black pigment to produce a nice grey. What did you use?
I have a couple bottles of maker juice red pigment and I'm planning on using it with some of the ftd snow white too.

Re: problems with maker juice G+

^this is definitely an option.. id like to find out why this is occurring. I have had pigment settle with other resins but not float on the surface like this..causing light blockage. Has anyone else had issues with g+ and top down setup? I thought it was the pigment that had a separation issue..but ...

Re: problems with maker juice G+

got another bottle and have the same problem. Pigment starts to separate and form pools on the surface within 10 minutes of starting the print..Beginning of print looks good and it begins to fall apart as the pigment gathers.

what am i doing wrong?

Re: Top down setup, first decent prints :)

right now i have it set for 3mm dip..and somewhat fast (120mm/sec) seems to work out ok for most prints but thin walls i had had some issues. that was the only print i have tried at 25 micron Z (was around 50-60 micron xy) and i think i was at 2000ms. What is your xy resolution? I have been printing...

Re: Top down setup, first decent prints :)

i mixed quite a bit of the blue pigment into the FTD to get this deep blue color, but i am still having a little bleed. I have been placing all of my prints so that the most important details are facing up so that the bleed doesnt look as bad. I am hoping once my new bottle of maker juice red comes ...

problems with maker juice G+

I got a bottle of red G+ in yesterday. As soon as i got the bottle I shook it up for a minute and then poured some into my vat. There were a bunch of micro bubbles on the surface and i waited a while ..but they didn't really disappear. I decided to do a small test print at .1mm layers and the object...

Re: Acer H6510BD

^did curing times change much after removing the color wheel? I am still trying to decide if i am going to stick with this acer or buy infocus, vivitek or optoma. the acer has a hardly-usable print area..has anyone found a way to get full use out of the 16:9 area? has anyone been able to with other ...
