Hi everyone One of my friend recently has bought a panasonic solid shine laser projector for his office showroom. It uses a blue laser instead of lamps as the light source. I was really interested in it's specifications. the brightness is 5200 lumens and the lamp life is 10000 hours. I really wanted...

projectors comparison
Hi I've build my own machine and first I tried vivitek d910 with EC500, the results were great. But my projector broke and it was my fault. I tried to replace it with another model dh558. I couldn't even print with that projector so I replaced it with a dh913 and again I was satisfied with the resul...

Have anyone heard about envisiontec CDLM printer? It seems it is similar to Carbon 3d. I can't fint much information about it in the web.
By the way does anyone know what's that uv led light engine that many 3d printer makers use?

PDMS Breathe
Hi
I've seen than some users, let the pdms breathe after some layers. How can I determine the breathe time and also the number of layers?
If I use FEP do I need to let it breathe? And what is the life time of FEP?

hi
Is there a feature in nanodlp to stop printing to let the PDMS breathe after some layers? Is it needed for the FEP also?

Commercial Lenses
The light uniformity of projector is really important if you want to use your whole plate, the first step is to apply mask. But what ever you do you can't completely calibrate your projector lens. I was thinking of replacing the projector's cheap lenses with some commercial perfect lenses like canon...

I can't peel of the first layer from build table easily and the cure time for both layers are the same...
