Re: LittleRP2 Information

The new vats from the small sized lrp2 can fit on a lrp1 *if* you replace the midplate with a newer version (which adds hold downs and mount points for the acrylic underplate riser, I suppose we could call this LittleRP 1.5 and it's a minimal change overall. If you don't want to replace the midplat...

Re: LittleRP2 Information

Just so I'm certain I understand right: The new VATs from the standard sized LRP2 can fit on the LRP1, but the EBA kit will only work with the LRP2? In other words, I'll need a LRP1 to LRP2 upgrade kit and also the EBA kit? If so, then mark me up as picking them up when they're available. Been runni...

Re: Shrinkage?

So your calibration prints are all coming out fine but the ring is still coming out way too small? You didn't mention how the calibration on Z was; be sure to test that as well. I'd say that's hinting at an issue with the file itself. Maybe the STL is being auto scaled by half somewhere in the softw...

Re: Shrinkage?

It happens. Just in varying degrees.
Normally it's only around <3%, but it's highly dependent on design, temp, and material.
If your prints are 150% off then I'd say it sounds more like a calibration issue and not a shrinkage one.

Re: Mirror cleaning

I've been using an eyeglass lens cloth to clean off the mirror before each print.
Granted it's only been a week, but I haven't noticed any issues.

Re: Longer Exposure Times?

Pretty sure I am? The prints themselves are coming out great, just felt like the exposure time was higher than normal. But in looking over some other peoples experiences I guess it's only slightly higher (9000/10000). Ran some tests with MakerJuice G+ instead of SF and the times dropped all the way ...

Re: Longer Exposure Times?

Tried setting the image on the projector to blue as you suggested but having the same problem. Not sure it's the heat, but just that the black on the projected image is still bright enough to partly cure the resin when set at the higher brightness. Did calibration size checks and to get things to sc...

Re: Longer Exposure Times?

Increasing the brightness to 100% only gave me a solid block of resin. Even at 65% it turned most of the resin to a gummy mess. Reset the projector to stock settings and still having the same problem. It's printing fine as long as I keep the exposure high. Currently at 9000ms/10000ms and that seems ...

Re: Longer Exposure Times?

Did you modify any settings on the projector? Like increase the brightness or anything?
Because you can see the first few prints on mine at those setting didn't remotely cure.
