Re: What projector, what resin ?

How do I get some of the resins from envisontec?I would love to try them! I have no problem printing the b9 with my infocus projector on the Solus printer.

Check out the Solus printer. I am printing at 25 microns XYZ and getting fantastic results.
Not affiliated, just a happy customer.

Re: THK z-axis assembly

THK linear guides are very good. On mills, typically two are used for stability. On printers, we don't have the load that mills do.
Are you worried about stability or wobble? At that price, I'd order two! Otherwise, go with some cheap Thompson guides. They will suffice for a printer.

Re: CW back lash compensation

Good ball screws typically have little to zero backlash. Lead screws have some backlash, but that is usually compensated by the anti-backlash nut. If very little force is applied to a lead screw that has a properly tensioned anti backlash nut, there should be no backlash.

Re: Solus High Resolution DLP 3D Printer

Just a proud user after one short week with the Solus! This printer is bad to the bone! A little over 2 hours to print. I come from a CNC only background, minitech mill 2. Printing is all new to me, but I must say, I am extremely happy with the results I am getting with the Solus after only one week...

Re: Computer crash

You're running a 32 bit system. You will only get 3 usable gb of RAM, even if you put in more than that. I hope you get the problem sorted soon.
