casting resin recommendations
I've been trying to print a mold using some old MakeSolid CastSolid resin (because I have 2 liters of it lying around). The prints come out, but when I try to pour ceramic into the molds, they crack and break apart. Could be old resin. Could be the ceramic mix is getting too hot. I know the intended...

If the leadscrew IS noticeably tighter, what are the best things to check first?

Comments on LittleRP2 build
I found that tapping the plastic parts with a 3 mm tap made it much easier to mount the parts with screws. The screws are small, and it was difficult to apply enough torque to have them self-tap the plastic without stripping my allen wrench. If you have any of the options (tall, bigger vat, etc) be ...

Instructions for installing projector in LittleRP2
I just finished my build of the LittleRP2, with the Tall and Large Vat options. The instructions for assembly stop before dealing with the projectors. Where will I find instructions on which mounting holes to use for each projector, and which spacers to use, please?

Re: Parts not sticking to build plate with vat and FTD black
At Brad's suggestion, I started using B9 Creator to add supports to my structures. I reoriented one, after which it printed correctly twice. Another one printed correctly 4-5 times. I also discovered a few stray support feet in the vat, which could well explain a few of the failures. I have not been...

Re: Parts not sticking to build plate with vat and FTD black
Thanks! Any idea why it has worked quite a few times, but now does not? The part that is frustrating me is not that it fails, but that it is erratic! Unpredictable!

Re: Parts not sticking to build plate with vat and FTD black
Thank you. Does any of your advice change if I tell you there is a plexiglass layer beneath the vat film?

Re: Parts not sticking to build plate with vat and FTD black
I used auto-generate, and the thing is awash with supports. I guess I'm hosed. The frustrating thing is that this exact part has printed successfully quite a few times. Now, all of a sudden, nothing works. Erratic.
Thanks again

Re: Parts not sticking to build plate with vat and FTD black
Thanks for your advice. I tried raising the part up and adding the supports. The print did not fail in the usual way: it was still stuck to the build plate at the end. The print was, however, crap. Inside the forest of spikes, the actual part was malformed. Does anyone sell a perforated build plate ...
