Re: DLP projector options

Thank you for the reply.
I will stick to 100micron X-Y resolution.
I believe Z -resolution will depend on steps_mm. So I can go upto 30 micron for Nema 17 with 1/16th stepping. Will there be any issue with mechanical strength when the resolutions in different axes are not matching?

Re: Lead nut mounting

I have created a linear guideway as shown
Section view of the mount:

There will be an interference between the linear bearing and the mount (around 0.5mm) to hold it in place... will it be enough?
This part will be printed in ABS plastic.

Re: Lead nut mounting

Thanks for the reply.. I've been doing some reading and have designed a new one to compensate for backlash... I have added another spring in the bottom just to ensure tight gripping... This should work i believe? let me know...

CLIP technology

Hi.. Just read about CLIP technology used in Carbon3d. But I have some doubts: 1. Is it possible to apply CLIP technology using some cheap oxygen permeable membranes? 2. How do we provide continuous supply of oxygen to bring out dead zone? 3. In the end, even if it is possible to get the stuffs requ...

DLP calculation files

Hi guys.. are there any particular set of calculations that compare cure time with photon flux, viscosity of resin etc etc... Or any other forum posts or websites? I would like to quantify these variables before buying the right apparatus.
