Re: Smallest Support Tip Diameter that can be used?
I get this sometimes with different materials. I don't recall it being a problem much with MS1 or MS2. However, G+ Black and Red (Haven't tried anything else but blue... and let's say that blue is difficult to print with and to not have it turn into a nasty blob that ruins your print surfaces. The o...

MakeSolid V2 Resin problems after an hour.
I got some MakeSolid v2 resin (Black and Red) I started with the black, but discovered after about an hour, there would be a film develop that, similarly to over exposed Makerjuice G+ would cover the bottom of the dish. Thought it was problems with just the black. The red however does the same thing...

Re: Best projector options for LRP
I have (a prior to the kickstarter) P1500, the main inconsistency is that the older ones use M3 screws, while the newer ones use M4, so you'll need to drill out the 3 (or more if you move it) mounting holes as they come as M3. It's easier to drill out the holes than to add material. I've got a setti...

Re: Acer P1500 settings?
I've got mine of the furthest front. (It's an early m3 not m4 model mount) I've basically got it on default projector settings. I have noticed that is uneven. Center/right is best left has problems with being underexposed. Not sure if there is anything that can be done. If i crank it up so the left ...

Visually Clear Resin?
I was wondering about a visually clear resin which would be suitable for lenses. I just wondered if anyone had seen one or if they were even possible (as some of the curing with most resins occurs a little above the visible cutoff at ~400nm).

Re: SubG+ exposing time at 100µm and Acer H6510BD min. 10s?
I have a P1500 (Which per the Acer site uses the same bulb and a LittleRP (KS version)) I've got a thread on the LittleRP regarding my experiments with (Sub)G+ and the P1500. It cures REALLY fast compared to MakeSolid Red (or the times for SubSF) http://www.buildyourownsla.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=...
G+
I had some on hand already. (Trying to build basically a slightly larger printer prior to the KS, but had problems, fortunately I chose the P1500) I have had great luck with the MakeSolid, going down to 25 microns. It took a bit of playing with, and I have only played with 3 colors so far (I have th...

Re: Separating Build from Buildplate
In my very limited experience so far I did the opposite of this, warm before cold, with a very small amount of force it comes off. Less than hairspray on a plastic printer (Aluminum heated bed which cops down, and it's easy to pop off.) I'll have to switch it up, and see if that's better. 1) Bring t...
