Hey Guys,

Almost back from summer madness.

When I'm back I'll get back to my promise of documenting my build more closely.

Re: Yet another cheap build - Need your help!

Hey Guys, Sorry I've been MIA big time! I bought a couple of Seadoo's this summer and you all should know there is a no time to waste in Ontario Summers. I will get back into the whole 3D Printer building scene soon as the weather gets colder. As for the CD-ROM choice. Wirelessguy, You will need to ...

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

Hey, No real way of telling what projector will work or not. You will need to try it. Some projectors need their UV filters removed on the bulb only, Some need the color wheel removed. Some need both and some need none. You can only really see if it works by trying to cure a drop of resin on a surfa...

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

Hey guys, Those projectors would not output any UV as they are using LED lights. We use DLP projectors not because the DLP causes curing but because of the way light is displayed out of the projector without going through a filter such as LCD in LCD projectors. With a MOD to the LED to UV, these pro...

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

Both slicing and printing is done using Creation Workshop. Made by the moderator of this site Steve Hernandez Aka. Packmanfan. Really no need for anything else as far as what I'm doing.

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I quickly put this printer together to test out SLA in general and also to see if my sourced projector would work for curing resin without any modifications. As it turns out that it does I would like to scale up my printer and take advantage of the smaller resin requirem...

Re: Arduino based controller for dlp printer

HTL..

Thanks for the FEP sheets. Very well packaged and came without any issues.

Also thanks for the firmware base that I was able to use in Arduino to control my SLA. Great job. A bump for software that people should be using to control their printers.

Re: $10 Top Down Build SLA. Testing for Bottom Up Build

My Apologies It's HTL not HCL and he's a blogger which actually is a Sub to this forum as well. He is the gent that I got my FEP from for building my bottom up printer.
