Re: Improvement Hack: End Caps for Build Plate (blocks resin
That looks really neat! I think I'll give it a try once I get my old FFF printer going again. Thanks for sharing!

Re: Projector focus
The transition from base to layer can be problematic with SubSF, I would try a longer layer time if for only this test piece. Maybe slightly off topic, but I'm a bit confused... Is there a difference between Makerjuice SubSF and SF or is it the same? Most of their resellers sell "SubSF", ...

Re: Projector focus
I'm getting adhesion, so the roughening should be fine (when I rotate the build plate it still fails in same side relative to vat/printer). When pushed it all the way down I see the the build plate clearly along all edges, and a thicker reddish tint in the middle. And middle prints perfectly. I'm us...

Re: Projector focus
Ok, I'm now using the third hole, and I can visibly see the overshooting when I focus. However, still cant get the 9-piece grid properly printed. I have tried increasing the cure times, but I get pretty much the exact same result as the first try ( http://i.imgur.com/7WzBGbt.jpg?1 ). Any ideas as to...

Re: Projector focus
I just did the 9 piece grid calibration-thing, but I seem to get no adhesion in the left side of my build plate. http://i.imgur.com/7WzBGbt.jpg?1 This might also explain why I had the supports fail on my figurines earlier. I've already tried levelling and re-levelling the build plate a few times. An...

Re: Projector focus
I'm using 50µm layer height. Oh well, its conforming to hear that the last wall is tricky, since I didn't get it
I'll try some longer exposure times then.

Re: Projector focus
Ok, so I moved back the projector by one hole, increased cure time to 3600ms (makerjuice sample resin), disabled anti-aliasing and got this: http://i.imgur.com/pfScipP.jpg?1 All the holes go all the way through (however, first one blocked at the bottom layer, but that was expected.) All columns prin...

Re: Projector focus
Heres the first print http://i.imgur.com/JJrh4ZH.jpg?1 Sorry about poor quality, taken from my phone. The smallest of the 5 columns didn't print other that a "blob"/string right at the bottom. Some of the other columns are broken by me playing with them(I'm surprised how flexible they are,...

Projector focus
Hi, I'm new to DLP printing and I have some questions about calibrating a few things. After following the assembly guides I got to focusing the projector, which I did as best as I could using the included scaling charts. One thing that concerns me, however, is that the best focus I could get was wit...
