Re: A new guy confused about top down printing
AFAIK you do just need to ballpark the first slice. I know with bottom-up printers the first few layers get overexposed anyway (to make a solid foundation), so typically if you need precision on the base of the part just put the whole thing on supports, then snap it off when you're done. I've never ...

Re: Clear resins?
Thanks for the info
Doesn't the B9 use a projector in the same way the LittleRP does? I wonder how Venus gets their stuff to work.

Clear resins?
Has anyone tried any of the clear resins with the LittleRP? I have an application that would greatly benefit from being somewhat transparent (even if it wasn't optical quality or anything).

Re: Odd shapes with undercuts.
I know it sounds weird, but try printing it with one of the points as the base. I think the issue is that flat spots, when supported only by a few posts, bend inwards when detaching from the PDMS layer. If you orient it such that it starts with a point, I think it will be able to build the shape by ...

Re: CW bug?
I'm having trouble understanding what you're seeing. If you use the left side buttons to click "Z 1 mm" four times, does it go the same as a "Z4" command? I think your system is calibrated wrong, specifically your controller. What are you using to control your steppers? The issue...

Looks like your Z axis is calibrated wrong. Check your steps per mm setting, which you can determine with your microstepping divider and your Z leadscrew pitch.

Bulging of semi-flat surfaces
I needed to print a part with a semi-large flat surface. I'm using a LittleRP with Makerjuice SF for LittleRP (this doesn't have tilt if you're not familiar with the model). I tilted the part about 10-20 degrees and applied a lot of support columns, however, when it printed that surface was very def...

Yeah, you'll need USB-serial drivers. Try downloading the Arduino IDE.
