Calibration
Well I finally we able to get my first print. I didnt do any calibration other than trying to figure the cure thickness. This print was supposed to be square but came out as a rectangle. I am assuming it is from the monitor settings. I thought the software corrected for this? What is needed to make ...

Re: Wont Stick
Im using FORMLABS build plate i bring it as close as I possible. But Im sure theirs room for improvement. I started using a tilt slide which I dont like to much. The results are not repeatable. This might be part of the problem.

Wont Stick
Over the weekend I finally got my machine up and running. But my problem is that none of the prints will stick to the build plate. I purchased FORMLABS build plate to make my life easy so O know I have a good build plate. I did manage to get 1 or 2 prints to stick but not very well. Its taking to mu...

Re: Vat slide alternative
I have been contemplating the same thing. Its a more elegant way of breaking the seal. The resin will not have to be moved so violently. Were bubbles and resin settling will need to happen before the next cure cycle begins. Especially for high resolution. For the time being I have just been lifting ...

Re: First Build
Excellent tip! I forgot to add the Projector spec's oop's! Which isnt to different from yours. Projector Infocus 2104 Lumes: 2500 Lamp: 200watts I didnt see how I was going to dial in the cure thickness. Other than trial and error. But your approach is alot more elegant. I also wanted to fine tune t...

First Build
My first build didnt go very well. But at least I was able to produce something. It was supposed to be the Eiffel Tower. One thing that has me really puzzled is that it not only curing the image but the surrounding area. I tried to turn down the lamp power and played with the contrast but its not he...
FIRMWARE
Is there a recommended hardware and firmware setup? What are people using successfully with CW V13? I several boards to choose from Arduino MICRO, UNO, MEGA 2560 and DUE. It would be good to use one these boards. I have read that GRBL might be a good choice. But has it been tested? Does it communica...

Re: Getting Started Infocus 2104
Thanks for the feedback. I'll try different settings.
I thought your original setup used a Infocus 2104? What did you do to project and image? What commands did you load? I thought it might also be cool to get a little bit more information out of the projector.
