The mUVe peel is just another way of reducing suction forces vs. a straight up peel. It was devised before they had their standard FEP vat. The nice thing is you can either choose to use it or not. The mUVe uses two independent z-axis motors to allow 'tilting' the vat hence the need for the arduino (for now).
