Re: Here's my DLP printer
Yes, I think maybe the svg thing was a dumb idea, watsonstudios , just so this idiot can understand, are you going from 90dpi to 600dpi, what filter, bilinear ?., sounds like it gives smoother edges, therefore smoother prints. But the resolution of the dlp would be the overriding factor perhaps, jus...

Re: Here's my DLP printer
I had Viscam at work for a while, why do you use it, (expensive), why not add a feature request to do the image processing to creationworkshop, and support stuff, we always seem to need tool chains in cam, image processing, etc, to get the best result, each step adds potential errors, Pacmanfan, (st...

Re: Can CW be used for CNC machining?
I bought Mach3 some years ago, and it is very good, you will need a pc with parallel port, which I think you have already, the other option is linux cnc, used to be called emc2, I have only dabbled with it because mach3 is available. I have been building and using cnc's for over 25 years and mach3 i...

Re: Creation workshop on linux
It works, and seems faster than in windows, right click the exe file, and "open with mono runtime" simple.
I have not yet connected to the projector, its in bits.

Re: Multiple monitors
Does the size of the projector need to be small, or can keystone be used to compensate for convergence.

Re: Multiple monitors
I have the feeling this is a dumb question but Just to get my head around this, are you talking about multiple monitors into a single large vat, or multiple machines building seperate parts, when I understand I will then have some more questions.
anyway it sounds interesting.

Re: Creation workshop on linux
Thank you, that means that linuxlite running on old hardware makes for a cheap controller,
i shall try it out.
thanks again.
P.S, Linuxlite is the best operating system, I highly reccomend it.

Would you please give us a primer to get CW running on linux, I tried under wine with no luck,

Re: Can CW be used for CNC machining?
CNC machines historicaly are programmed with Gcode, your controller should accept this gcode and perform the
steps you have programmed, programming used to be manual input, but CAM systems allow for 3dimensional work.
Do you have some images of the controller?.
