Re: Floating resin handling

I've only used salt water and FuntoDo IB. (which has been my favorite so far, seems to hold pigment for a long time)

I've just accepted that its gonna be messy. My vat is a tupperware so I can cover it for storage.

Re: Full Video tutorial on building a topdown DLP printer

I've seen videos but of very specific sections of the process. This is over an hour long showing every step in detail, and it took quite a while to put it together. I'm really suprised to see this reaction honestly. I'm not forcing anyone to buy this but some will feel it's worth the cost of a movie...

Re: Full Video tutorial on building a topdown DLP printer

I'm sorry you feel that way. This is just another resource for beginners, I wish I had it starting out instead of spending months piecing the parts together from the web..

And it's 15 not 20..

Re: Getting prints to stick to build plate

Hi Man This problem can be caused by low ratio adherence between the build plate and the VAT. for best printing this ratio will be more than 100.So you should use a metal with high adherence like Aluminum with a good polish surface as a build plate and use Teflon VAT like with super low adherence. ...

Getting prints to stick to build plate

Hi all, I'm having trouble getting large surface area prints to adhere to the build plate. (peeling up around the corners) Thinking of sanding down my steel build plate to get better grip. Anyone have suggestions on how to get good ahesion?

Best,
Vaughan

Re: Z axis bug

Nevermind... Ended up being a linkage problem. Fixed with zip ties and slower accelleratio.
