Re: Carbon 3D
Can you share your thoughts on how it's gonna work? I don't know if it's gonna work! :D That's why I am trying. The guys at Carbon 3D did, and they have the same problem accessing the center of the vat, so... why not? <- very scientific  My thougts. The PDMS is full of air at atmosferic pressu...

Re: Carbon 3D
Honestly, I think that would be more useful to that community to have more real tests with your own 3dprinters, using several compounds, ect ,ect , than the theories and hipotethical situations.... :D I have been working in the oxygenated PDMS idea. Looks good, so I'm going to give it a try. I have...

Re: Carbon 3D
According to Phife who talked to the guy, he's using PDMS. Can PDMS "create that thin layer of uncured resin." ?? First time i hear that. It does. PDMS is higly oxygen permeable, aprox 600 Barrers (990 Barrers for Teflon AF2400) So you can expect the same behaviour showed by Teflon AF2400...

Re: Carbon 3D
Would oxygen migrate all the way to the center of the vat from the openings on the sides ? That's the question! I don't know. Clearly this method allow more oxygen than just PDMS over glass covered with resin. Is that enough? I don't know. But is an idea i want to share. May be helping the oxygen t...

Re: Carbon 3D
I'm currently using PDMS with a B9 similar setup. PDMS will not streech to an acceptable point. When I replace old PDMS coating I usually streech it to the break point and it breaks very easy. Maybe if casted with modified proportions the result will be different. The guy in this video is using PDMS...

Re: raspberry pi Silent boot
Hi guys. I can generate an sd card image, but It wouldn't work out of the box, because it needs a couple of hardware dependencies. Give me a couple of weeks to make it usable to the outside world and do some documentation and I will upload it to github.

Re: raspberry pi Silent boot
Someone managed to create a stand-alone printer? I do not like the idea of using a PC. Raspberry - is the perfect solution. Someone has already connected it? Does anyone have such experience? I am. I have a Raspberry connected via HDMI to the projector and via wifi or eth to lan. I control it via...

Re: Pigments, layer heights, intensity questions.
Hi Adam. I solved it adding pigment. It is the only way. At first I used Spot-A pgiment, but I reached almost 7% concentration without noticeable results. After that I tried almost all things you can imagine, but nothing worked. You can block some light before it reaches the vat, but once it reaches...

Re: Pigments, layer heights, intensity questions.
I dont think that contrast ratio has a role in this problem. Contrast ratio is related to how truly black black pixels are. With low contrast ratio, we would expect poor edges definition, but I am not getting this problem, in fact I have focused the projector very well and am having an outstanding X...

Re: Pigments, layer heights, intensity questions.
I am having the same problem. I am using B9Red resin. I have exactly the same build area as you, but interestingly my projector is way less powerful, a cheap 1100 lumens one. Probably the optics doesn't block UV as well as new projectors. I have tried to project in various gray tones rather than pur...
