And thanks to my neighbour who cut of the bottom part of the con...

Re: Optically clear FEP or translucent?

Good questions. I am on a search for the best FEP (or similar) film and am finding that the manufactures of these films make them in different grades (translucent, clear, etc.) which, I am sure, greatly changes the UV transmission. My film from McMaster seems to not transmit UV as well as what othe...

Re: My Printer in Actione - inc Flexvat

on alibaba, type in conveyor belt fep film - and try to get 0.05mm thick film(300mm wide). $50 for 0.5KG of film, which lots and lots of meters. Kind regards, Edwyn Is there a particular reason why you decided to go with 0.05mm thick FEP film instead of thicker like 0.1mm or 0.15mm? Is thinner bett...

Re: Optically clear FEP or translucent?

Considering how thin FEP film used I would assume that there wouldn't be much light diffusion when using Optically Clear FEP film vs Translucent FEP film; whereas with Translucent FEP film because there is essentially extra added-in material to make the film translucent that would lead to less sharp...
