What is the distance from the bottom of the projector to the bottom of the vat. I'm going to see I have the room for it, tks.
I'm purchasing an Acer projector as well.

Re: DLP printer Build
@Finhead: I like the idea of eliminating the mirror, but "when" the 0.0035 inch FEP film breaks, the resin is going to pour onto your projector. Might you consider placing a very thin (0.015 inch) sheet of clear plastic under the FEP to prevent resin from leaking out? EDIT: I just read you...

Re: my build!
Tks for the help!
Edit: I need two more dimensions, as the blueprint is missing the offset distances from the sides.

RapR3D Visual GCode Editor - edit GCode just like a CAD file
This was posted in the RepRap forums, and it looks very promising to manage fine details that might be obfuscated or otherwise cause a surface imperfection. http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?1,374302 Fine tune your model in a GCode Editor before printing Now you can edit your “Slicers generated” 3D ...

Re: Bespoke tilt/slide routines automatically added
I'm designing a generalized Cartesian platform which allows me to use more than one axis at a time, this is in addition to the vat degrees of freedom of movement that will be coordinated with the Cartesian. So I'm interested in blending multiple axis movements into one parallel, and or serial sequen...

Bespoke tilt/slide routines automatically added
I'm interested in testing different tilt/slide routines.
After you generate the gcode in CW, can you modify the gcode, and save it?
After I have created a bespoke gcode routine that I want to run on different objects, is there a way to have my gcode script automatically added to CW gcode?
Tks.

Re: my DLP build
hp_ Please post more info about your belt drive. I'm designing a belt drive, and I would like to know what does, and does not work. If you were to use only a stepper motor without a gear drive how much torque would you suggest for your 9cmx8cm build plate, and would your torque recommendation scale ...
