Re: FTD (FunToDo) resins on LittleRP?

It looks like you're overcuring your part just a bit... If you drop your exposure time, you should see less of the uneven layers.

Re: CW without GCODE

If all you need to do is send ASCII commands to the board, you can do that with the M800 Ascii pass-through.

Re: Basic CW questions

Basic questions: 1. You should not have to. I just delete the old part and load in a new one. 2. Probably. Steve can clarify 3. This bug has been around for a while, yes. 4. Your modeling program either exports in inches or mm. The STL file format doesn't specify which it is, so the humans are force...

Re: Sedgwick 3D DLP Printer

i wud like it to do 50 and 25 mic too , do you think this is possible ? You may see some slight artifacts due to improper step ratios, but these will depend on tolerances from bot to bot. Some have it worse, some are fine. You will also want to increase your "Dwell" time -- when the Z-sta...

Re: New Creation Workshop RPi Host

Hi. I am trying to setup my printer with Raspberry Pi and CW RPi Host. I wonder if there is any manual how to wire RP and other stuff? I guess RP still needs some Arduino/RAMPS to drive stepper? Otherwise I saw that you need help with testing... I would be glad to help :) As far as I can tell with ...

Re: TR8*8 Anti Backlash Nuts

If you're using them for you Z-axis, I'd suggest broadening your search to normal TR8*8 nuts as well... Anti-backlash nuts offer no real benefit when you have gravity on your side!

Re: My Printer in Actione - inc Flexvat

I don't know how they got the patents, and what exactly is patented, but it in no way prevents us from discussing and building machines like it for our personal usage. If you are in the US, building a patented machine for personal use is actually prohibited. Is it likely that a big patent troll wil...

Re: Mask - Project output only or also in png slice export?

My first thought would be to double check that your machine config has the "UseMask" variable enabled. However, a quick skim of the CWS source makes it look like the color correction is added only when the frmDLP gets the image. Steve will have to chime in and confirm this, but it looks li...

Re: only right half of machine working ?

Some photos of the prints would help us diagnose... Possible causes: ⋅ PDMS layer is starting to get cloudy. Rotate the dish to see if the area of failure changes. ⋅  Build plate isn't as level as it could be ⋅ Uneven projector lighting. Increase cure time to compensate.
