Re: Resolution vs Native Resolution

Your not gaining anything unless it's a native resolution of 4K. If it lists 1920X1080 for native resolution that is what your getting. There are only a few true 4K projectors, I haven't seen one under $9,000. You'd be far better off converging 2 or more 1080P projectors if you need higher res. Prob...

Re: 5.5 inch (2560x1440p LCD) with UV LED array for under $600. :Proniks Sla 3d Printer,

Hey hp, still getting good prints from this printer? Really tempted to grab one while it's super cheap and lower the footprint of my current DLP, this is tiny compared to. :D Hi, some new results on the printer, and I was not disappointed. really great results. i've printed the hexball from http://w...

Re: Open SLA Resin 3D Printer

Looks like a nice design, just looked at it on Thiniverse.
Can you share any details on the LCD setup and or light panel design?
I have a flex vat design I built in Fusion the other day that might work great with this if it were scaled properly.

Re: 5.5 inch (2560x1440p LCD) with UV LED array for under $600. :Proniks Sla 3d Printer,

I found a cheap fep supplier on aliexpress.. but i buy 60 dollars of fep on a roll 0.025mm, the lcd resin printer uses 0.1mm fep thickness I am very interested in how they actually make the fep film tense. but i love the flex / pillow vat design Looks like they are using the standard way of tension...

Re: 3D scans.

So far the only scan I've been able to do with this configuration for lack of time is this one: http://youtu.be/P9vW1khfPMo Hopefully I'll be able to run more scans this week. Holy crap that is insane, I really need to find time to look into building one of these. I'll be contacting you soon. ;)

Re: Acer H6510BD

@finhead: how is the sharpness at the edges for you? I'm using a first surface mirror and noticed some issues towards the top of the projected image. Have you had any problems so far? Yes I had a little bit of issues with my set up using a first surface mirror. I am now running the projector straig...

Re: CWS on UNCIA DLP

Super cool. I installed microcontroller board, I configured the firmware. And with the purchase of a Nema 17 stepper motor with planetary gear 5:1, I can now print to 100,50 and 25 microns whithout backslash. So now I can only thank you for helping me achieve it. best regards Rafael Silva Nice glad...

Re: Acer H6510BD

How small picture can be focused on this projector? What is the minimum size? What is the optimal distance between the projector and a container with resin? Not sure the limit as I have never tired lower. I have focused down to 50 micron XY without issue, that is approx. 120mm from the VAT surface....
