Projector Calibration (set focus)

Hi, what's the best procedure to calibrate the projector and set it in focus, using Creation Workshop ? The B9 Creator software projects a grid, which is also supplied as a PDF file. You can print that PDF file (and make sure to print it in 100% size, without resizing), and then lay the paper onto t...

Re: CW first run: Z-axis moves, but not on "home"

@Tom

It is indeed Marlin. I am using the firmware as downloaded from mUVe3d.net with the mUVe 1.5 DLP Hardware.
But I'll look into this.
Thanks.

CW first run: Z-axis moves, but not on "home"

Hi all, I am just trying to run Creation Workshop for the first time (again) on a new hardware. Everything seems to be fine, but when I press the "Z-home" button, the Z-axis does not move downwards to it's home position. If I click Z -10, it doesn't move either. If I click Z +10, it DOES m...

Re: Any monotone projectors out their >?

Yes there is, I saw a manufacturer, from I believe Finland, who manufactures OEM UV DLP Projectors, so these output UV light directly without any modification. However they are darn expensive (couple of thousands of euros) - meaning if you want to build a low cost printer, you better go with a stand...

Your own head as a 3D file - 3D-Print it yourself

Hey,

Our Kickstarter project is now live, and there are still some Pledges left, where you can get your own head as a 3D File, to print it yourself on your own 3D printer.

One or up to three photos are fully sufficient.

Check it out:

Re: Anodizing Aluminum (For Build Plate)

We also have a B9 Creator, and the build plate of the B9 is also anodized.
I can confirm that it has better adhesion than the Form1 build plate, which is not anodized.

3D Printing Project soon on Kickstarter, help needed!

Hi 3D Printer owners, we're working on launching a new product, that is based on 3D printing. We decided to launch it on Kickstarter soon. As I have been somewhat active on this forum in the past, I decided to post here the two questions that I have: 1) Kickstarter is internationally available, but ...
