Re: Problems with my actual print

this effect is caused by spherical lens all DLP use.
the only solution is to use software mask - to dim a bit lower the center, so the side parts will be as bright as center.

Re: Strange Inconsistent Vertical Scars/Artifacts on Prints

easy solution - it's definitely worn out silicone.
the lines you see - is that small area on your vat coating, which has accidentally worn out / damaged / scratched, etc - definitely due to previous prints,
stuck prints - anything mechanical which could have caused damage.

take care :)

Re: 350x200 mm Build Platform, UV laser or DLP Projector?

Hi all, thanks a lot for useful info.
I'm a DLP user here, which gives me 192x108 mm build area max at 100 micron XY.

I'm also very interested in increasing build area,
anyone can please give good advice re GALVO laser setup?

DLP vs SLA vs LED ARRAY vs ANYTHING ELSE :)

Hi dear community, I think I'm need of some advice please :? to cut a long story short - I have a DLP Optoma HD25, which work excellent (except for spheric effect of bulb, which all DLPs have). ~10x18 cm print area is not enough for me, with only 100 micron xy resolution. My main goal is to get BIG ...

Re: New Builder - LCD Based 3D Printer - Introduction

LED array covering the entire LCD is the way to go. use the small 1w LED's and the collimating lenses that go with them. Also LED array is much more compact vs fresnel. May I ask several questions please: 1) You advice using 1W UV LEDs, may I ask why? There are 3W or more out there, any point in us...

Re: CIRCLES ON MY PRINTS - NEED ADVICE PLS

Hey guys, wanted to ask one more thing please - anyone has tried LASER instead of DLP, right?

Does LASER method has the same circles on print surface, or not?
Any comments please?

Thanks as always!

Re: Creation Workshop RC9 - Not on GitHub!

If you are using a standard 15 pin analog vga cable to connect to your projector you may not be able to use resolutions above 1680X1050. If your laptop has a hdmi or displayport output a hdmi/displayport to dvi adapter may solve your problem (monoprice.com is a good place to find adapter cables). H...
