Re: Any way to change vat tilt speed after a set amount of layers?

Got it figured out over at CNCzone

F{$CURSLICE < $NumFirstLayers?10:{$CURSLICE > 100?100:25}} is the expression.

This would also need to be used for the blanktime to match the mechanical movement times.

Re: Question about resin tray.

I just thought about that while I was at Menards last week. I was going to purchase a can to try out, but when I looked up reviews it said it dried to a foggy clear. I figured I'd hold off and find a brand that dried clear. I'm curious to know if someone has tried it.

Re: projector black area too bright, it's curing the entire build area.

I had the same problem as you recently. I added the ND filter and solve the problem for a while, until it burned me. I guessI have to get a glass filter. :( then, a friend lent me a little red milky resin and it was wonderful. but it is a very expensive resin. I will try to get the name of the manu...

Re: projector black area too bright, it's curing the entire build area.

Well, the filter helped a little too much. Even on the lowest setting it more than quadrupled my layer cure time, ugh. Just for testing purposes, I removed the filter and tried another print. This time not one problem, none of the background cured, WTH? Hmm, don't know what's going on there, but see...

Any way to change vat tilt speed after a set amount of layers?

I have two different size build plates, one for when the projector is close for smaller, higher resolution prints, and one for large prints. The small one has no problems, but the larger one, due to the large size of the plate and the viscosity of the resin, it takes quite a bit of force to tilt the...

Re: HELP to configure CW+arduino: this is what my first print looks like.

It's been a while since I've messed with it, I think I used bits and pieces from random places to get my Z height tuned in, so here are a few that I used. These are example, from different machines and setups, your numbers will differ, but you should be able to find what you need from them. http://w...

Re: projector black area too bright, it's curing the entire build area.

Yeah, that's the first thing I tried was turning down the brightness, it helped tremendously, but It's still too bright. I'm sure moving the projector farther away will help, but I want to get it setup for a higher resolution. Other than the projector settings (It's about as good as it's going to ge...

Re: projector black area too bright, it's curing the entire build area.

With the ND filter you can solve the problem but dont install close to the projector lens or it will burn. It is better to get a large filter and install beneath the projection surface. Are you working with fun2do resin ? I made sure to get a glass filter so I can have it close to the projector. My...

projector black area too bright, it's curing the entire build area.

I had this problem when I first set up the projector, it was really bad, apparently when it auto calibrated, the brightness was all the way up, and within a few layers the entire build had cured the resin into a rectangle at the bottom of the vat. I found the settings and turned the brightness down ...

Re: Backlight projector problems.

Glad you fixed it. I will just throw this out there in case anyone has the problem that I did. I let the projector auto-adjust when I first got it. For some reason the brightness was cranked up to 93%. I manually lowered it to 30% and all was good after that.
